The Certina DS-7 Chronograph Padel Edition by Marta Ortega is a new and special edition of the quartz-driven DS-7. It’s a cool black sports chronograph with a 30-minutes counter, a 1/10^th of a second display and small seconds. The black bezel shows a tachometric scale and if you zoom in you will see a tennis ball as well.

Anyway, the Spanish Marta Ortega is one of the goddesses of the international padel scene, and she is sponsored by Certina. Which leads to this watch named after her.

The DS-7 is run by a rather unspecified Swiss quartz movement with “Precidrive technology” which indicates it is probably an ETA caliber G10.212 Precidrive. This quartz movement has a /10^th of a second chronograph, date and end-of-life indicator, with a battery that lasts about 36 months.
