Drive de Cartier is the new series from Cartier inspired by classic cars and comes with three calibers. The Cartier Drive de Cartier 1904-FU MC is the second model in this series based on the caliber 1904 MC.

The caliber 1904-FU MC, created in 2014, combines a retrograde second time zone display, a day/night indicator, a large date and small seconds, with the complications coordinated directly by the crown. This movement equips the small complication model of the Drive de Cartier watch.

The ‘entry’ model 1904-PS MC comes with a steel or rose gold case with either a white/silver or black dial. This 1904-FU MC comes with a steel or rose gold case with either a white/silver or grey dial. The top model is the Flying Tourbillon with caliber 9452 MC and this one is only available in rose gold with a white/silver dial.

The patterning of the guilloché dial has the design of a radiator grill, sort of. The Roman numerals and the sword-shaped hands make the watch look very classic. The case has a height of 40 millimeters and is 41 millimeters wide, and has a transparent case-back.
