A new model in the collection, this Carl F. Bucherer Patravi Traveltec Black is indeed black. Matt black to be more specific. The rugged steel case and strap have an ultra-thin, scratch-resistant DLC finish (Diamond Like Carbon) which is a crystal-like, deep black color.

The Patravi Traveltec series comes in many variants, all with one characteristic feature: the watch can display three time zones, hence the ‘Travel’ in it’s name. The red pointer shows one time zone, as do the two inner bezels. A simple but very clever system adjusts one of the inner bezels with the mono pusher at the 10 o’clock position. Each press of the pusher moves the time zone by one hour.

In addition to the three time zones the Carl F. Bucherer Patravi Traveltec Black also features a chronograph, not seen in the other previously released models in this color. Inside the watch you will find the CFB 1901.1 caliber, an automatic ETA movement modified by Bucherer, with a power reserve of 48 hours. The case is no less than 46.6 millimeters in diameter and 15.5 millimeters thick. The black dial highly contrasts with the hands and indicators which makes the watch pleasant to read. True, its size helps as well. It is water resistant up to 50 meters.
