Together with the Type XX Chronograph 2057 this Breguet Type 20 Chronograph 2057 is launched. The Type XX is the more civilian reincarnation of a military spec 1950 flyback pilot, this Type 20 is the military inspired version. Sounds a bit confusing, but let’s take a look at this model.
Like the XX it’s housed in a 42-millimeter stainless steel case, also displaying a matte black dial, but now with two sub counters. A 30-minute totalizer is placed at 3 o’clock and a 60-minute totalizer is positioned at 9 o’clock. The dial is encircled by a bidirectional bezel.
The Breguet Type 20 Chronograph 2057 has a power reserve of 60 hours
The hands and Arabic numerals as well as the triangle on the bezel feature a mint green shade with a luminous effect. Overall, the looks remain almost the same as the original Type 20, there’s just a little ‘enhancement’ on the dial: the date window squeezed between 4 and 5 o’clock.
Inside the Breguet Type 20 Chronograph 2057 is the new Breguet caliber 7281. An automatic movement which delivers a power reserve of 60 hours. This pilot model has the same price as the Breguet Type XX Chronograph 2067.
