This Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe Flyback Chronograph Blancpain Ocean Commitment II (or a little bit shorter: the BOC II from Blancpain) has not only a very long name, it also has a special case. It is made from ceramic, which is not very rare, but its color is quite unique. It’s matt dark blue and it has a satin-brushed finish. Together with the meteor grey dial with sunray pattern it looks just cool.

The case is 43.6 millimeters and houses Blancpain’s chronograph flyback movement, caliber F385. It is developed in-house and uses a column-wheel mechanism. It beats at a high 36,000 vibrations per hour to be able to measure 1/10th of a second. The 18K gold rotor has a blue color as well and an image of the globe with all oceans in blue.
