The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding 43 mm Stainless Steel & Rubber is the one to have for the more sportier types. It is crafted in stainless steel, and it has a blue rubber-coated bezel. The matching dial comes in smoked blue with Mega Tapisserie – the large pattern you cannot miss on the dial. And it somehow reminds us of the 2017 Royal Oak Offshore Diver Funky Colour editions. Also very sporty, without a chronograph and with Mega Tappisserie.
Its size is 43 millimeters in diameter, with a thickness of 14.4 millimeters. Apart from the blue Mega Tapisserie is has an inner bezel with a darker blue tone to show a seconds track. The rhodium-toned hour markers are from gold and trapezoidal-shaped, and the hands are Royal Oak type, also rhodium-toned gold. Markers and hands are filled with luminescent material. All by all the dial stays clean, with a subtle AP logo on top and a date aperture at the 3 o‘clock position.

Powering this timepiece is the automatic Audemars Piguet caliber 4302 which is visible through its sapphire case back. The brand’s signature 22-carat pink gold oscillating weight is blackened here. And the movement has refined decorations, including Côtes de Genève, vertical, circular and sunray brushing, circular graining and polished chamfers. The power reserve is 70 hours.
The Royal Oak Offshore in steel with rubber comes on a blue rubber strap. Which is secured with a stainless steel AP pin buckle. Additionally you will get a black rubber strap as well.
