Alpina takes the case of their Alpiner Extreme line to create this Alpina Seastrong Diver Extreme Automatic. Which is part of their kind of new diving watch line, the Seastrong. There were two special editions released earlier, with a bigger case (41 x 42.50 millimeter). However, this new Extreme Automatic as well as it’s other new member, the Alpina Seastrong Diver Extreme Automatic GMT, get a 39 x 40.5-millimeter case.

You might think of another diver that will never dive, the so called “desk diver”, but don’t underestimate this model. It meets the ISO 6425 standard that is used for dive watches, so the provided water resistance of 300 meters or about 1000 feet is guaranteed. Helped by the solid screw-down case back and screw-down knurled crown.

The Alpina Seastrong Diver Extreme Automatic has a power reserve of 38 hours

The unidirectional rotating diving bezel is from ceramic and the hands are large with super-luminova, also on the hour markers. The model comes with three different dial colors: black, with some touches of orange, grey and black. Inside is a solid Sellita caliber SW200-1 with a custom rotor, called the Alpina AL-525. An automatic movement with a power reserve of 38 hours.

The Alpina Seastrong Diver Extreme Automatic comes on an orange rubber strap if you go for the black dial. The grey dial comes on a brushed and polished stainless steel bracelet and the navy blue dial on a navy blue rubber strap. All with folding buckle with push button.
