Apart from the basic Seastrong Automatic there is also this new Alpina Seastrong Diver Extreme Automatic GMT. It’s the same concept: the Extreme case from the Alpiner series is transplanted to the Seastrong series as well. It’s a bold case that shows it can handle rough conditions and within the Seastrong line it offers a water resistance of 300 meters or (about) 1000 feet.
If you compare this diver to the more basic Alpina Seastrong Diver Extreme Automatic, the only technical difference is the GMT function, thus the movement. For now, the Automatic GMT only comes in two dial colors: black or silver. The ceramic bezel is the same, the specs for the screw-down crown and solid case back as well.
The Alpina Seastrong Diver Extreme Automatic GMT has a power reserve of 50 hours
Inside this diver is the Alpina caliber AL-560, probably based on the Sellita caliber SW330-1, but with a new rotor. And perhaps some other adjustments. A workhorse GMT, in a positive way of course, here with a power reserve of 50 hours.
This Seastrong Diver with GMT comes on a black rubber strap with steel folding buckle with a push button. The price difference between the basic Alpine Seastrong Diver Extreme Automatic and this Seastrong Diver Extreme GMT is about 500 dollars or euros.
