The Bell & Ross BR 03-92 Horograph and Horolum are the latest models in B&R’s Instruments collection. This collection only features models with square-shaped cases with a screw on each corner and round dials. Just like the instruments in old fighter jets.
These two new models are also inspired by aviation. The Horograph (made out of ‘hora’, Latin for ‘hour’, and ‘graph’) is a kind of interpretation of clocks on airports. A bit Bauhaus style, easy to read, even from a distance. The BR 03-92 Horograph has a matte black dial with white indices and hands in black and white. The seconds hand has a red tip. The indices and hands are covered with Superluminova and the Horograph comes with a black rubber strap and an ultra-resistant black synthetic fabric strap.
The Bell & Ross BR 03-92 Horograph and Horolum have the same movement: the Bell & Ross caliber BR-CAL.302
The Horolum (made out of ‘hora’ and ‘lumen’ which is Latin for ‘light’) is limited to 500 pieces and is inspired by the light of landing strips. International conventions have led to bright green lights and that is exactly how the BR 03-92 Horolum looks in the dark. The numerals and indexes of the grey dial are cut-out and behind the dial there is a second one. This one, and the hands as well, is coated with Superluminova C3 which light-up green in the dark. The Horolum comes with a grey-green calfskin strap and an ultra-resistant black synthetic fabric strap.
Both the Bell & Ross BR 03-92 Horograph and Horolum have B&R’s caliber BR-CAL.302 automatic providing a power-reserve of 38 hours. And both cases have a diameter of 42 millimeters.
