The Patek Philippe Calatrava Pilot Travel Time Chronograph is the first chronograph version of their Pilot-style series. The Calatrava Pilot Travel Time (with reference 5524G) was first launched in 2015 and inspired by aviator timepieces. Instantly recognizable by the layout of the dial with large numerals and large pushers to operate the watch. The Calatrava Pilot with chronograph is released in two versions. In blue-gray with reference 5924G-001 and in khaki green with reference 5924G-010.

Both models are housed in a 42-millimeter white gold case displaying a blue-gray or khaki green dial. The applied numerals are executed in with gold and so are the hour and minute hands. These elements are obviously coated with luminescent material. The dial shows four hands to indicate the local hours and minutes, while the skeletonized hand marks the hours at a second time zone. The fourth hand is the chronograph seconds counter. At 12 o’clock is the date indicated by a hand. The counter at 6 o’clock is the 60-minute chronograph counter.

Inside the Patek Philippe Calatrava Pilot Travel Time Chronograph is Patek’s Philippe caliber CH 28-520 C FUS. It has a gyromax balance, a spiromax balance spring and a 21k gold central rotor. For sure it has the Patek Philippe Seal hallmark. Furthermore, the power reserve is 55 hours at max.

Both watches come on a matching calfskin leather strap with a clevis prong buckle. The khaki green strap has a vintage finish.
