The Great Barrier Reef stretches over a length of about 2,300 kilometers off the coast of Queensland in Australia. It contains 2,900 reefs and about 900 small islands. All together it is the world’s largest coral reef with an area of approximately 344,400 square kilometers. Since 1981 it is on to the world heritage list.

The Australian Marine Conservation Society (AMCS) preserves this unique location with financial support by Oris. A part of the profits from the Oris Great Barrier Reef Limited Edition II watches is donated to AMCS.

The Oris Great Barrier Reef Limited Edition II is based on the Oris Aquis, one of the most popular divers from Oris. The Limited Edition I was the first spin-off, this one is obviously the second.
