The Greubel Forsey Tourbillon 24 Seconds Vision Platinum is the first from a new series with a platinum case. This model has a striking salmon-colored dial with blue enameled indexes.

Like all models in the Tourbillon 24 Seconds Vision series the tourbillon can be seen through the dial and through the case back. There is a large 14-millimeter tourbillon aperture at 9 o’clock. Despite its size it does not disturb the overall profile of the dial. But maybe the most beautiful part of the watch is on the back.

On the case back there is a transparent bubble that houses the 24-second tourbillon, with two curved tourbillon bridges with hand-polished surfaces. This bubble solution is used to keep the case itself as thin as possible: 13.65 millimeters. With the dome, it’s 16 millimeters. The shape of the lugs is constructed in such a way that you won’t feel the glass dome when wearing the time piece. The in-house produced tourbillon movement supplies a power-reserve of 72 hours.

Although it is not a limited edition, production numbers will be limited to ‘a few’ each year. And this model is the first of four new models to come. Each with a platinum case and each with a different dial. We can’t wait to see the next model.
