The case is asymmetrical; a bulge houses the balance wheel and this shape has become a sort of design signature for the brand. Somehow your eyes are immediately attracted to that part of the watch. The hour ring and the seconds ring are from gold and are flat black polished and matt lapped to create this gray and gold tones, and a grainy affect.
