Each piece of the Girard-Perregaux Free Bridge Meteorite is unique, although it is not a limited edition. However, because of the use of meteorite as part of the construction each piece has its own look. As each piece of meteorite has its own unique pattern called Widmanstätten pattern or Thomson structure. This new Free Bridge is crafted in a 44-millimeter stainless steel case with an open dial. Very cool is the open-worked spring barrel located below the 12 o’clock position. GP inverted the movement so the barrel is on top, and the balance spring at the bottom. With the bridges on the front side, from which one is prominently shown. Two meteorite plates are incorporated in the dial on the left and right side, for perfect symmetry. On the outside of the dial is a raised ring with luminescent indexes.

The Girard-Perregaux Free Bridge Meteorite has a power reserve of 54 hours

Inside is the automatic Girard-Perregaux caliber GP01800-2085, an evolution of the caliber GP01800. Which can also be admired through its sapphire case back. The escape wheel, pallet lever and the arms of the elaborately shaped balance wheel are formed of silicium. Lightweight and not liable to corrosion. The power reserve is 54 hours.

The Girard-Perregaux Free Bridge Meteorite comes on a black calf leather strap with a fabric effect secured with a steel triple folding buckle.
