Frederique Constant is 35 years young and they celebrate that with this Frederique Constant Classic Tourbillon Manufacture. For which they use their in-house FC-980 caliber, developed 15 years ago. And they switched to a smaller case size for all their Classic Manufacture timepieces: 39 millimeters instead of 42 millimeters.

The case of the new model is 18-karat rose gold, has anti-reflective convex sapphire crystal and a distinguished grey sunray brushed dial. Because all the attraction is in the 6 o’clock area where the tourbillon houses. It’s an 80-piece tourbillon with seconds hand.

Caliber FC-980 of the Classic Tourbillon Manufacture delivers a power reserve of 38 hours. Which is just enough, although it shows it’s not one of the most modern tourbillons anymore. But it is not one of the most expensive ones either. And the water resistance (300 meters) is good for this type of watch.
