Last year Ferdinand Berthoud introduced the FB 1 Chronometer. The first time piece under the wings of Chopard, that bought the brand a couple of years before. This Ferdinand Berthoud FB 1.3 Chronometer is the third time piece since the revival of the brand.
The first FB carries reference FB 1.1 and comes in white gold. The Reference FB 1.2 is the same model in rose gold and this reference FB 1.3 has a platinum case with anthracite grey ceramic lug elements. Technically these three models are the same.
The Ferdinand Berthoud FB 1.3 Chronometer is limited to 50 pieces
So, inside the new Ferdinand Berthoud FB 1.3 Chronometer is the FB-T.FC caliber developed by Chopard. A hand-wound movement with a tourbillon and central sweeping seconds. The hours and minutes are on a subdial at the 12 o’clock position. It has a suspended fusée and chain constant force transmission regulation and an extreme high level of finishing.
