Carl F. Bucherer introduces two limited editions with the Carl F. Bucherer Manero Central Counter Nico Hischier. These versions honor the Swiss-born captain of the New Jersey Devils ice hockey team in the United States and CFB brand ambassador, Nico Hischier. The first version is limited to 99 pieces, which refers to Nico’s birthyear of 1999. While the second one is a limited edition of 13 pieces, reflecting Nico’s lucky and New Jersey number.

These Nico Hischier versions are almost the same. Both are crafted in a 42.5-millimeter stainless steel case with a thickness of 14.43 millimeters. And both feature a dial in black with a circular brushed pattern, and silver sub-dials at 3 and 9 o’clock – a day/night indication and the small seconds. At 6 o’clock is a date window.

There is a silver minutes and seconds track around the dial and it has some red details. The chronograph has two central hands, one for the seconds and one for the minutes. The black DLC coated bezel shows a tachymeter scale. The difference between the two models is that the 13-pieces version has the mark of number 13 at the 1 o’clock position on the dial. And the back is engraved with 13.

Inside is the automatic Carl F. Bucherer caliber CFB 1967 which is visible through the sapphire case back. The centrally mounted oscillating weight displays a design influenced by CFB’s energy star logo, also visible through the back of the case. The movement is equipped with 47 jewels delivering a power reserve up to 44 hours.
