In the series of new Avengers, this is the Breitling Avenger Automatic GMT 44. The Avenger’s line has been in the watchmaking industry for more than 20 years with watches particularly for jet pilots. Strong and tough, and this one comes with a second time zone on the dial. It is available in two colors, each with either a military style leather strap or a stainless steel bracelet.

The Avenger Automatic GMT 44 is 2 millimeters bigger than the new Breitling Avenger Automatic 42 – it’s all in the name. So, this model is 44 millimeters, in stainless steel, with a thickness of 12 millimeters. You can buy a black dial version or a blue dial version. If you go for the military style leather bracelet with soft, yellow inlay it comes in the same color as the dial.

The Breitling Avenger Automatic GMT 44 has a power reserve of 42 hours

The dial is clearly readable and sports a thin, full red GMT hand. The thin central seconds hand is silver colored and has a red tip. And the tips of both hands are filled with super-luminova. In the dark you just have to remember that the triangle shaped tip indicates the second time zone. By the way, it’s also possible to adjust a third time zone if you use the bidirectional turning bezel. The regular hour and minutes are also filled with super-luminova, as well as the top dot on the bezel.

The automatic Breitling caliber 32 (aka B32) runs the Breitling Avenger Automatic GMT 44. This movement is COSC certified and offers a power reserve of 42 hours. Due to the screwed-locked crown and screwed steel case back the watch has a water resistance of 300 meters / 990 feet.
