AP reveals the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Jumbo Extra-Thin Openworked in white gold. A logical follow-up of the earlier released pink gold, yellow gold and stainless steel versions. It’s still thin, with a caliber thickness of only 2.7 millimeters. And all the mechanics are fully admirable.
The white gold case measures 39 millimeters in diameter, the thickness is only 8.1 millimeters. Its design is still inspired by the 1972 Royal Oak, and here it features a skeletonized dial. The bridges and barrels are executed various shades of grey and anthracite, matching the white gold hour-markers and hands. The inner bezel is black satin-finished for some extra contrast.
