The A. Lange & Söhne Zeitwork Minute Repeater Honey Gold is the latest Zeitwork model by the German brand. It was first launched in 2015 crafted in a platinum case, followed by a white gold version in 2020. And now, the new member of the Zeitwork Minute Repeater collection is available in Honey Gold, a limited edition of 30 pieces only.

This timepiece has a 44.20-millimeter case, the same as the other Zeitwork Minute Repeaters. To house all the complications it has a thickness of 14.10 millimeters and made of the brand’s exclusive Honey Gold with a silver-grey dial. Which makes the watch strikingly elegant.

The dial features the time in a digital way where the jumping hours are on the left and the jumping minutes on the right. The power reserve indicator located at 12 o’clock has a white track with a tiny red marker to show it’s almost time for winding. At 6 o’clock is a large small seconds counter.

But the most striking part is the minute repeater, which can be activated through the pusher at 10 o’clock. It chimes a low-pitched tone for each elapsed hour, a double tone for each elapsed ten-minute period, and a high-pitched tone for each elapsed minute. It produces a clear, reverberant sound, paired with a rich and warm timbre, as stated by the brand.

The A. Lange & Söhne Zeitwork Minute Repeater Honey Gold is powered by a hand-winding Lange manufacture caliber L043.5. It has a constant-force escapement between the barrel and the balance and offers 36 hours of power reserve. The watch comes on a dark brown hand-stitched leather strap with deployant buckle in honey and white gold. Earlier versions were priced just under half a million, so expect this one on that price level as well.
