The Zenith Defy El Primero 21 Chroma II is back. It is one of the brand’s Defy’s with multi-color touches on just black or just white. The first model was first revealed during the LVMH week in 2022, a week in which the group of companies Zenith belongs to, show new products. The Chroma was an immediate success, according to Zenith, the limited edition of 200 that only came in white is sold out. So generation II, with just a little new spice, and now available in white and black as well, is here. Both limited to 500 pieces each.
The black model comes in full-black micro blasted ceramic, the other is all matte white ceramic. Both measure 44 millimeters. The black ceramic models shows a lot of colors based on primary colors, while the white model manifests striking colors highlighting blues and pinks. It displays an open-worked dial with chronograph counters complimenting the tone of the case.
The visible bridges are refined in multiple metallic colors matching the rhodium-plated hour-markers, faceted and coated with rainbow varnish. Also colorful: the crown’s rubber grip ring, and the cordura-effect rubber straps’ stitching.
The Zenith Defy El Primero 21 Chroma II has a power reserve of 50 hours
The Chroma II runs with Zenith’s caliber El Primero 9004, which you can admire through its open dial and transparent sapphire case back. Take a look at the two independent regulating organs and gear trains. It is equipped with a 1/10th of a second chronograph movement and has a power reserve of 50 hours.
The Zenith Defy El Primero 21 Chroma II comes on a black or white rubber strap with rainbow stitching. Secured with a titanium double folding clasp. The white version is only available at Zenith boutiques and selected retailers around the world, while the black ceramic edition is available at all Zenith authorized points of sale.
