Pokémon is originally a game for the Game Boy, developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo. Nowadays it contains several video games and anime series. After the suddenly exploded Pokémon popularity because of a smartphone app, having Pikachu (one of the most popular Pokémon characters) shining on the dial might sell. The bright yellow character is depicted on a black DLC coated satin-brushed and sand-blasted dial. It is is engraved with Pikachu’s Electric-type pattern. Romain Jerome took their Moon Invader model for this creative collaboration. Characteristic for this model are the ball and socket lugs. With these lugs the designers refer to a lunar lander – the inspiration for this watch. Because of these lugs the vulcanised rubber straps of the watch are tied to your wrist smoothly.
