As the Breitling Chronograph Colt Automatic series breathes adventure and masculinity a black model is the cherry on the cake. Black watches are traditionally used by military forces to prevent visibility, but we can safely say it’s the perfect accessory inhabiting the urban jungle. With its sturdy case, water-resistant to 200 m (660 ft), the Breitling Colt Chronograph Automatic Blacksteel is a great conversation wrapped around your wrist.
The 44-millimetres case of the Colt is satin-brushed with a carbon-based coating that can handle an adventure or two. So can its large screw-locked crown that’s fitted with protective reinforcements.
To improve readability (which can be a challenge with black watches) the watch has larger hands and hour-markers with luminescent coating, and a red central chronograph seconds hand. The Colt is, like other Colts, powered by Bentleys mechanical selfwinding calibre 13. You slip the Breitling Colt Chronograph Automatic Blacksteel around your wrist with either a leather, rubber or a high-tech fabric strap.
